I am excited to begin my 17th year of teaching! After graduating from Tennessee Tech University, I began teaching 7th grade math at Warren County Middle School. After nine years there and a year at Siegel Middle School in Murfreesboro, I found my true home at Morrison School in 2008. As a part of the intervention team, I will be working with 5th through 8th grade students to improve math skills.
Morrison School is part of my family. My grandfather, O.M. Womack, was principal here for 20 years and my mother, Linda King, went to school at Morrison too. It was mother's mathematical footsteps that I followed into the teaching profession. I am married to Matt Richey and have a son, Dylan and a grandson, River. We also have two dogs, Biscuit and Jake. I love to read, scrapbook, and organize things in my spare time.
